Interstate 19 (I-19) Frontage Road Study

Project Summary:

The Arizona Department of Transportation is conducting a planning study of the I-19 Frontage Roads (east-side and west-side). The study will recommend a program of improvements on the existing frontage road alignments within the identified boundaries, and will also examine multimodal needs and opportunities that address related deficiencies on the frontage road system.

The I-19 Frontage Road Study will result in the development of three working papers and two public involvement summary reports: Working Paper 1-Existing and Future Conditions, Working Paper 2-Deficiencies in the Study area, Working Paper 3-Program of Projects, Summary reports 1 and 2- Summarize public input received at public involvement and stakeholder meetings to identify issues, present findings and obtain input.
