When does the grant cycle begin?
Cycle 2 is now closed. Selected projects will be announced in late April 2008.
How much funding is Available?
There is $1,250,000 available for Cycle 2. The maximum request/project limits will be $45,000 for non-infrastructure projects and $250,000 for infrastructure projects.
What types of projects are eligible?
Applicants can apply for non-infrastructure and infrastructure projects in Cycle 2. Each of these will use spearate application forms. Applicants may submit as many applications as they desire.

What data collection is required?
Applicants/schools regularly will be expected to count the number of students walking and biking to school. This data will be submitted quarterly.
How are projects selected/evaluated?
The Safe Routes To School Advisory Committee will review and select the winning projects. Futhermore local COG's and MPO's will have the opportunity to rank applications from their jurisdictions.
