Project Overview

The Arizona Department of Transportation is preparing for a paving project at the Laughlin Bridge intersection along State Route 95 to Aviation Way in Bullhead City.

The nearly $1.1 million project includes paving, new curb and gutter, sidewalks and installing raised medians. Crews will begin median work, Sunday, April 9.

Paving is expected to begin in mid- April. There will be no construction activity or travel restrictions during the annual Laughlin River Run special event, April 26-29. The project is expected to be completed in May.

What to Expect
  • Construction activities will take place overnight to minimize traffic delays, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday.
  • There will be no daytime lane restrictions.
  • Temporary nighttime lane closures will be necessary, and motorists should expect brief delays traveling through the work zone.
  • Drivers should proceed through the work zone with caution, slow down and watch for construction equipment and personnel.
