US 93 Pavement Preservation Project from State Route 89 to Rincon Road

The Arizona Department of Transportation began work on a five-mile repaving project in mid-March on US 93 between State Route 89 and Rincon Road (mileposts 193 to 198) in Wickenburg.

Work is expected to occur overnight through the end of May and drivers can expect a single-lane restriction during work hours. Work hours for this project are Monday through Thursday nights between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m.

This $1.9 million project consists of new rubberized asphalt, guardrail replacements, new striping and other miscellaneous work.

Drivers should proceed through the work zone with caution, slow down and watch for construction personnel and equipment.

ADOT works to inform the public about planned highway restrictions and closures, but it’s possible that unscheduled impacts might occur because of weather or other factors. For the most current information about highway conditions statewide, visit ADOT’s Traveler Information Site at www.az511.gov, follow ADOT on Twitter (@ArizonaDOT) or call 511, except while driving.
